APW held many wonderful events in our efforts
to raise money for The Jamison Center, our chosen Charity
for 2006-07.
We started the year with our annual Fall Gala
at Seven Oaks Country Club where we enjoyed great food, a
beautiful fashion show, and many fun opportunity drawing
items--starting out our fundraising with style! We also present
our check for the previous year’s fundraising efforts to our
charity recipient, which was the National MS Society.
Our December Christmas Gift Exchange at the
Guild House allowed us to buy DVD’s for the Jamison Center.
With our efforts we were able to give them over 40 DVD’s of
various G, PG movies. They were ever so grateful.
Our March Charity Bunco held at the Petroleum
Club was another great evening! The decorations and
opportunity drawing items again were terrific.
Our most recent fundraiser was April’s Clay
Shoot and was a complete success. Thanks to Arlene and Dawn
and many of the APW members who volunteered we were able to
raise about $14,000.00 that day. Great food, great opportunity
drawing items and most generous sponsors.
We will present our check to The Jamison
Center at our Fall Gala in October.
A BIG thanks goes out to everyone, we
could not do this without you.
