APW holds many wonderful events throughout the year
in our efforts to raise money for our chosen charity
recipients: It is our tradition to present our check for the
year's fundraising efforts to our recipient at our Fall Gala
in Ocober.
We start the year with our annual Fall Gala
at Seven Oaks Country Club where we enjoy great food, a
beautiful fashion show, and many fun opportunity drawing
items--starting out our fundraising with style! We also present
our check for the previous year’s fundraising efforts to our
charity recipient.
Our December Christmas Gift Exchange.
This luncheon/raffle is always a fun-sold out event and is just
in time for Christmas gifts to our charity recipients.
Our Spring fundraiser is our annual Charity Bunco, to
be held this year on March 11th at the Petroleum Club. This
Girls Night Out event includes dinner and many fabulous
raffle prizes as well as bunco. We will also hear speakers
from our selected Charities. It's a NOT TO MISS event!
April’s Clay
Shoot is always a complete success. Thanks to Arlene and Dawn
and many of the APW members who volunteer. We have been able to
raise about $14,000.00 this day.
A BIG thanks goes out to everyone, we
could not do this without you.
Lynn Califf, 2009-10 2nd Vice President,
